Sarah McIntosh

The classroom teachers of the Jefferson County Teachers Association have endorsed Sarah McIntosh because of her two decades of education experience. As a JCPS graduate, former JCPS teacher of 16 years, and parent to two current JCPS students, Sarah knows the challenges and issues facing our schools. As a University of Louisville graduate, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Arts in Teaching. She also completed her Rank 1 in School Leadership. Sarah is a champion of public education and will work hard to connect with the community and provide a voice to both families and students. Sarah supports the idea of equity in education and believes that providing every student with what they need to succeed is crucial. She understands curriculum needs, the challenges in classrooms, and knows firsthand what our schools need to provide all students with the best educational experience possible.

By electing Sarah to The Board, you’ll be bringing an experienced voice and tireless advocate for equitable education to the JCPS. The teachers of Jefferson County ask you to join them in supporting Sarah McIntosh for the JCPS School Board.
